Rye Ridge Resources
About us

A small firm with deep roots in the basins we know.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Rye Ridge Resources is a privately held investment firm acquiring oil and gas mineral interests, royalties, overriding royalties, and non-operated working interests across the continental United States.

Our story

Built for long-term relationships, not transactions.

Rye Ridge was founded on a simple idea: mineral and royalty owners deserve a direct conversation with the people actually underwriting their interests — not a call center, not a broker, not a marketing funnel.

Our team brings more than fifty years of combined basin and industry experience. We underwrite every opportunity in-house, communicate clearly, and structure offers that reflect the real economics of the asset.

We're patient capital. When the right opportunity comes along, we move quickly. When it doesn't, we tell you why.

How we operate

Four principles that shape every deal.

Professional & confidential

Every conversation, valuation, and document is handled with discretion. Your information is never shared.

Well-capitalized

We acquire with internal capital and committed partners — no contingent financing, no surprises at close.

Direct, personal contact

You talk to the team underwriting the offer. We pick up the phone. We answer questions plainly.

Ability to close quickly

Title, engineering, and legal review happen in parallel. Clean transactions close in weeks, not months.
